Welcome to The SMA
Thursday 1st May at 7pm
The SMA is in communication with the organising committee for the Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow in 2026. While we do not have any definitive information to offer at this stage, we highly recommend attending this Study Event if working at the games is something you are interested in.
Synopsis:
This session will explore the essential considerations when supporting Paralympic athletes in a high-performance environment. Sinead will discuss how to approach impairment specific needs, highlighting the importance of effective communication and will share her experience of working with paralympic athletes. Of course, the clients don’t have to be athletes for this information to be useful.
